Mechanical Engineer

HAVEN Seats is at the forefront of developing life-saving protection solutions, leveraging cutting-edge energy-absorbing systems for both military and civilian applications. We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative Mechanical Engineer to join our core engineering and development team.

This is a unique opportunity to take full ownership of product design, from initial concept through to successful production, making a tangible impact on critical safety technologies.

What You’ll Do:

As a key member of our team, you will:

  • Drive Product Innovation: Lead the end-to-end product design lifecycle, translating complex customer requirements and market needs into robust, high-performance mechanical systems.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing department to identify new market opportunities and formulate groundbreaking product concepts that expand our reach.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate seamlessly with our engineering and production teams, as well as marketing and development managers, ensuring cohesive product development and successful execution.
  • Supplier Engagement: Partner with external suppliers to characterize materials and components, ensuring optimal performance and quality for our products.
  • Problem Solve: Tackle complex engineering challenges, applying your expertise to design solutions that meet the highest standards of safety and reliability.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience as a Mechanical Engineer, specifically in the development and planning of complex mechanical systems.

Software Proficiency:

  • Creo: Experience with Creo software is a significant advantage.
  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Quality Assurance Engineer

Join Our Team as a Quality Assurance Engineer

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer who thrives in a professional, collaborative environment and is committed to upholding the highest standards of quality and compliance. What You’ll Do:

As our Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in:

  • Implementing and Maintaining QMS: Drive the implementation and ongoing maintenance of AS9100-compliant Quality Management System (QMS) processes across all operations.
  • Quality Documentation & Procedures: Develop, manage, and maintain comprehensive quality documentation, including checklists and procedures, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
  • Supplier Quality Management: Oversee and enhance supplier quality through rigorous audits, evaluations, and proactive follow-ups to ensure compliance and performance.
  • Inspections & Verification: Conduct critical First Article Inspections (FAI) and Source Inspections to validate product integrity from initial stages.
  • Deviation & Improvement Management: Implement and manage the deviation process, including Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), focusing on timely resolution and continuous improvement.
  • MRB Collaboration: Actively collaborate with Material Review Boards (MRB) to facilitate effective disposition and swift resolution of quality issues.
  • Special Process Oversight: Ensure stringent compliance and quality control for special manufacturing processes, such as welding, coating, painting, casting, and extrusion.
  • Acceptance & Compliance: Conduct Acceptance Test Reports (ATRs) and verify strict adherence to customer and regulatory standards.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Foster strong, collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Production, Purchasing) and external suppliers to drive overall quality excellence.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Materials, or Industrial Engineering, or a Practical Engineering degree in a related technical field. Certification in Quality Engineering (CQE) or related areas is a significant advantage.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of hands-on experience in quality assurance or quality engineering, with a strong preference for backgrounds in aerospace, defense, or similar highly regulated industries.
  • AS9100 & QMS: Proven experience with AS9100 requirements and QMS implementation is a distinct advantage.
  • Documentation & Processes: Proficiency in creating and maintaining quality documentation, checklists, and records in both Hebrew and English. Demonstrated experience in implementing and executing FAI, MRB, 8D, APQP processes, and managing related documentation.
  • Deviation Management: Strong ability to manage NCRs and CAPA processes, with a clear focus on timely resolution and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manufacturing Processes: Familiarity with various manufacturing special processes, including welding, coating, painting, casting, industrial manufacturing processes like extrusion, and complex assemblies.
  • Supplier Quality: Skilled in managing supplier quality, including conducting audits, evaluations, and driving corrective actions.
  • ERP Systems: Experience working with ERP systems, with a preference for PRIORITY.
  • Language Skills: Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
  • Key Attributes: Detail-oriented, highly organized, with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and external partners.
